This blog has a tri-fold purpose (all tied up in its main purpose: that God might be glorified):
One, it's meant for my daughters' safe enjoyment, and along with them, that of other young ladies, as they make the journey into godly womanhood; to this end, things my daughter's love (videos, poems, music, pretty stuff), recipes (my daughters love to cook), links to safe on-line games, things they are learning (and enjoying) and the like will be regularly posted.
Two, it's meant to help guide my girls (and other Mama's daughters) into godly young womanhood, to help them to comprehend God's glory and His holiness, to help them to understand issues that they will be facing in their journey, to help to prepare them to be godly wives and mothers and to value the role that God has set before them; to this end, biblical sermons, articles on godly womanhood (or dealing with issues that ladies need to understand: modesty, the role of women/men, etc.), quotations and lovely poetry will make regular appearance. These are things that I am using/have used with my daughters (and that they have been blessed by).
Three, it is meant as a tool in the hands of godly Mamas, some of whom may not have a husband able or willing to help guide their daughters into godly womanhood; I have faced that situation so much of what I post on here are things that have helped me and, I pray, will help you, too.
